The West Campus project is part of Yale University’s larger initiative to repurpose the former Bayer pharmaceutical campus in Orange, CT, into a dynamic extension for academic programs and university departments. As part of this transformation, LDL Studio led the design and documentation of the Main Hub—a building featuring three distinct menu service platforms, a café with casual seating, and a fully renovated commercial kitchen equipped to support both daily dining and large-scale events. The building now houses an event space with a capacity of 250 guests and a new servery café, while the upper level was reconfigured to include 25 offices and two conference rooms.
