College Food Station

An innovative 550-square-foot freestanding food service station concept designed by LDL Studio for the student dining commons at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Built for maximum operational flexibility, the island features an adaptable layout with hot/cold self-service lines and a unique mechanical rolling-signage marquee, allowing campus dining staff to easily rotate through three distinct culinary concepts daily to reduce peak congestion and enhance the student dining experience.
