Designed using a flexible "kit-of-parts" approach for easy adaptation, the space features an energetic, industrial aesthetic with warm lighting, wood flooring, and biophilic elements, offering grab-and-go retail alongside a compact coffee shop.

HIVE Market is an innovative 2,400-square-foot hybrid convenience store and café concept designed to serve the fast-paced lifestyle of university students and campus visitors.
Positioned along the campus perimeter, HIVE provides a curated balance of essential retail offerings—including snacks, bottled beverages, fresh grab-and-go items, ramen, and everyday convenience products—paired with a compact coffee café that delivers a quick, high-quality stop for breakfast, study breaks, and on-the-go refreshments.
The concept embraces a flexible, kit-of-parts approach that allows the model to be efficiently adapted to a variety of campus and urban environments with minimal renovation requirements. Maintaining the character of the existing shell, the design celebrates an open, industrial aesthetic with exposed building systems, warm linear lighting, European ash flooring, matte black retail fixtures, and integrated biophilic elements that create an energetic yet welcoming destination for students throughout the day.
